課程概述 |
Course Description ：
This course focuses on the recent advance in the study of structural geology. Thus this course emphasize in two parts: (1) Paper reading, discussion and oral presentation; (2) Research projects related to structural geology. The topics cover mechanics of earthquake and faulting, applications of continuum mechanics in structural geology, applications of discrete element modeling in structural geology, neotectonics and rock mechanics.
